Large quantities of unlicensed medications have been taken by Department of Health officials throughout a search of a house in Glengormley.
A male was talked to by department officers about unlawfully importing and consequently providing unlicensed impotence medications through the internet.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medication offenses.
He will now be the subject of a report to the general public Prosecution Service.
The search was carried out by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, stated: “It is vital that we get the message across that unlicensed medications can be harmful.
“These types of items being offered, typically online, have no quality control and there can be no assurance about their security.
“You merely do not understand what you are taking or the conditions these products were made in. More notably, you do not know the effect drugs like this might have on your health.”
